William Mude

William Mude

William Mude fled war-torn South Sudan when he was just eight years old and spent the next thirteen years in a refugee camp in Uganda without either of his parents. Education consisted of a group of children sitting under a tree and writing in the dirt with a stick. William was fortunate to be selected for a scholarship in Canada where he studied pharmaceuticals  When an uncle in South Sudan asked him "What use is that to us?" William transferred to the field of Public Health, completing a Masters Degree at Adelaide University, and is now enrolled in a PhD at Latrobe University.

William Mude is the Project Manager overseeing Fulcrum Aid's partnership with the School of Nursing and Midwifery in Juba, South Sudan.
